Kitchen Lead

Bay City Brewing Co in San Diego, CA is looking for a line cook, with lead experience, to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable. Our East Village tasting room serves pizzas and bar fare. Experience executing private events is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Follow recipes and maintain high food quality and standards
• Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the Supervisor
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory and be aware of cost controls
• Maintain CA Health Code standards in the kitchen

Qualifications

• Cooking experience or Back of the House experience
• Private Event execution a plus
• Night/ Weekend/ Holiday availability required
• Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
• Strong attention to detail
